It is possible that the program is not able to differentiate between the old AA files and is assigning them the same title. You may want to check if there are any settings that can be adjusted or try converting them individually to see if that solves the issue.
I start the conversion then it says I'm missing a key and it aborts the process. where do I get said keys. Help! Please.

The audible key that is being referred to is a valid license key or activation key required by the program "inAudible" to convert audiobooks. You can obtain the key legally by purchasing it or obtaining it from the official source of the program.
Unfortunately, the inAudible appears to be a discontinued application. I can't find it anywhere online or on the websites that I've visited.
Because of that, I recommend checking other applications that you can use to strip the DRM from the files that you have purchased. Visit the following link to see an example of DRM stripping procedure using a dedicated application.
No, there is no version of this application for Mac, because there is no website to acquire it from. I've checked various websites, but it was all without luck. Based on this information, I can say that inAudible is a discontinued application that can't be downloaded on a computer anymore.
I downloaded inAudible a month or so ago and the download did not include the user manual. Now I can't locate the download on your site - says no longer in library but coming soon. Is there a link where I can obtain the user manual? The software is outstanding and I'd like to take full advantage of all the features. Thank you for your time.

Indeed the inAudible application is no longer available. I've searched the web and all the available websites, and although there are traces about the software, nothing exactly could be found in terms of troubleshooting, user guides, downloads, etc.
I've also checked the application page at Software Informer and the outcome is the same. There is a page on the Github website that handles the remaining inAudible functions like (DRM removal, license retrieval, etc). You should check it to obtain additional information.
I have been trying to use the inAudible 191 program, but it only goes to 98% on some books. Can't figure out what I'm doing wrong.

As it was previously mentioned before, the software is not available for downloading and usage on any of the available platforms. However, if you still have the software installed, there might be issues with the conversion because of codecs.

As an alternative, you can download another software to help you with DRM stripping: http://www.tuneskit.com/audiobook-tips/convert-audible-aa-aax-to-mp3.html

Try installing the following codecs and then start again: http://www.cccp-project.net/
Alternatively, you can use other conversion products instead of this unsupported one: http://software.informer.com/search/audio+converter
